Trackwork Tuesday 12 December 2017

The main gallops this morning were done at Canterbury on the course proper. The below were the standouts:

Sedanzer (Sebring/Voltdanze) worked brilliantly over 1200m, running home in 11.7 seconds for her final furlong. Her biggest fan Rachel King was in the saddle and commented, "She is flying. It was really super work." The mare is looking to make it three in a row on Saturday at Randwick.

Goulburn Cup winner Dark Eyes (Snitzel/Cinnamon Dove) was jockey Tim Clark's best older horse this morning working over 1200m. "That was very good from him. He's a laid back customer but he feels terrific," Tim reported. He too will head to Randwick on Saturday to contest the Group 2 Villiers Stakes.

Broadside (Raise The Flag/Anam Cara) could not be working better and this morning he please Steve O'Halloran when bowling comfortably over 1400m. Clocking a time of 11.5 seconds for his final furlong, Steve commented, "It was really good work. He is right on target and is raring to go." Like the above mentioned, Broadside will contest the Listed Christmas Cup at Randwick Saturday.

Magic MIllions graduate Make 'Em Cry (Exceel And Excel/Tears I Cry) was Tim Clark's best 2 year old, Geographic (I Am Invincible/North Pole Dancer) was the standout 2 year old for Steve O'Halloran, Domeland's Premier Rose (Not A Single Doubt/Piste Noire) was Rachel's best younger horse and Angiolini (All Too Hard/Glasgow) was Josh Parr's best.
