Trackwork Friday 22 September 2017

2YO filly STAR WITNESS/TAYLOR'S COMMAND has returned to the stable in very good order and on Friday morning she pleased work rider Harry Bailey when cruising over 600m at three-quarter pace. The filly looked focused throughout with Harry commenting, "She is a gorgeous, big filly with a lovely loose stride and she covers the ground well. She reminds me of a colt. I like her a lot." We have high hopes for this youngster, she has shown a stack of ability already and is coming to hand nicely at this early stage.

CHAIN OF FOOLS (More Than Ready/Burgeis) got the tick from apprentice Rachel King this morning when bowling over 1000m alongside her stablemate. Running home over her final 200m in 11.7 seconds, Rachel made the comment, "She feels terrific and was very strong to the line." The daughter of More Than Ready has come through her trial sensationally well and will head back to the trials at Randwick on Monday before preparing from some spring riches.

The full brother to Sebring, MAYBACH (More Than Ready/Purespeed) participated in a grass jumpout this morning with senior rider Steve O'Halloran in the saddle. He loaded well, was first into stride and showed good speed to lead the field with Steve commenting, "He is still learning but was very professional this morning and will really improve from that."

Domeland's 2YO son of Sebring, KING'S PEAK (ex Ma Famille) also took a visit to the jumpout's this morning with jockey Tom Sadler on board. He too did everything asked of him with Tom commenting, "I can't fault him. He's very professional and did that nicely within himself."
