ARBEITSAM (Snitzel/Workhard) has come out of his emphatic win at Rosehill in great form. This morning the gelding glided over 6 furlongs with Brenton Avdulla on board, running the last 200m in 12.0 seconds. Brenton reported, “He feels great, he’s a very happy horse and his confidence is sky high.”

Brenton also partnered the Group 1 placed ECUADOR (High Chaparral/Bak Da Princess) who lines up this weekend at Randwick against the mighty Winx. The gelding looked in great shape as he skipped over 6 furlongs, running the last 200m in 12.5 seconds. Brenton sounded in a confident mode as he commented, “He travelled really comfortably and had his ears pricked crossing the line. He’s raring to go.”

Apprentice Michael Murphy partnered Group 3 debut winner INVINCIBLE STAR (I Am Invincible/Romany Flyer) as she galloped solo on the dirt. Michael said, “She did it comfortably and had plenty in hand as she crossed the line. She was my best for the morning.” The filly will trial again in the next 10 day' time.

Recent Canterbury winner RUNAWAY (Manhattan Rain/Catshaan) looked sharp this morning as he bowled over 6 furlongs with senior work rider Steve O’Halloran in the saddle. Steve commented, “He’s in really good nick and travelled around smoothly," running home over his final 200m in 12.6 seconds. The colt will head back to the races at Warwick Farm on the 23rd.
