Sunday Stables & the CASEX Racing Syndicate

It's always a great day at Sunday Stables where our owners can mix & mingle over a glass of bubbles, whilst checking on their much loved horses in-training.

Below is an insight into CASEX Racing and how they formed their sydnicate name, which I always find very fascinating. The group attended Sunday Stables yesterday and are part-owners in 2YO colt, Star Of New York (Manhattan Rain/Charlety Star).

Thank you for sharing CASEX Racing!

L to R:
Helen Robertson, Ben Robertson, Gail Hodges, Adrian Bott, Brian Robertson (Manager), John Hodges (SocialSecretary).

CASEX Racing: First horse purchase. Name derives from Combined Anti-submarine Exercise.
Both Brian and John graduated from the Naval College together in 1969. In the eighties Brian captained surface ships(Destroyers & Frigates) and John captained Submarines. They exercised together quite often, hence the name CASEX!
Cheers,
John

PS thank you for today-it was great!!
