Trackwork Wednesday 8th January 2020

Point Of Interest  (The Factor/Streaking Comet) has been back with us for about two weeks and she is working well. This morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres at three quarter paceon the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Raj Kumar, she clocked 13.7 seconds over the final 200 metres and Raj was very pleased by how well she worked on her own today. She relaxed nicely in the early stages and then travelled strongly on the bridle for him from turning in all the way to the line. We are very pleased with her and she is doing everything we are asking of her with the minimum of fuss. We will continue to bring her along gently as we gradually increase the tempo of her gallops.

Dorothy Of Oz (Redoute's Choice/Princess Coup) is coming along very nicely. This morning she galloped over 1000 metres at three quarter paceon the polytrack alongside stablemate Pierro Rose (Pierro/Rose Of Sharon). Another to be ridden by work rider Raj Kumar, she clocked 13.8 seconds over the final 200 metres and Raj commented on how smooth she felt in her action. She worked enthusiastically  to the outside of her partner and she crossed the line with her head in the chest. She pulled up in great order and she's holding a very nice coat. We will start to step her workload up and we can't wait to see her back on the racetrack before too long.

Reinvest  (Redoute's Choice/Invest) is catching the eye and he galloped solo over 1000 metres. He clocked 12.1 seconds over the final 200 metres and work rider Alana Pearson was very impressed with the gelding.  He relaxed well early and built into his work nicely from the 600 metres, finishing off very strongly on the bit through the line. He's got an enourmous stride and he was like poetry in motion as he skipped along the polytrack. We will continue to bring him along towards a trial and he's an exciting sort to look forward to.
