Trackwork Wednesday 25th March 2020

Miss Spiteful (Snitzel/Simply Spiteful) has been in training for seven weeks and this morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Alana Pearson, she clocked 12 seconds over the final 200 metres and Alana said, "I couldn’t be happier with her at the moment. She relaxed so well in the early stages of the gallop before then working up very nicely to the line, remaining on the bridle throughout." We are delighted with this filly and she is coming along very well. She is progressing towards a trial in about two weeks’ time and we can't wait to see her back on the track.

Camerlengo (More Than Ready/Gamble Me) has been in training for three weeks and this morning he completed three quarter pacework solo over 800 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Cory Jones, he clocked 14.1 seconds over the final 200 metres and Cory said, "That was good work and he was consistently on the bridle throughout. He pulled up well and recovered nicely." It's only the beginning stages of his preparation, but we are pleased with this colt and he's returned to us in lovely condition. We will continue to bring him along slowly as we gradually increase the tempo of his gallops.

Addison Reserve (Scissor Kick/Balance Of Nature) has been in training for 2 weeks now and this morning she completed three quarter pacework over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Delaware (Dissident/Fortress). Ridden by jockey James Innes Jnr, she clocked 13.9 seconds over the final 200 metres and James said, "That was lovely work and she had a bit of a look around early before then focussing well. She's going to need some time but she's got a good attitude." This filly is taking everything in her stride at this early stage and we couldn't be happier with her. We will continue to bring her along gently as we tap away at her fitness.
