Trackwork Wednesday 22nd January 2020

Standforthe Anthem (Dissident/City Of Song) has commenced track work and this morning he completed three quarter pace work over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Quayde Krogh, he clocked 14.1 seconds over the final 200 metres and Quayde said, "That was strong work. He relaxed nicely and he was very focussed on his own. He had a small blow but that’s to be expected." We are very pleased with this gelding and he’s returned to us in great shape. It’s early days, so we have a way to go with his fitness and condition, but we will continue to bring him along gently in the first few weeks before stepping up the intensity of his gallops.

All Star Rocket (All Too Hard/Twin Star Rocket) is working well and this morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack alongside. Ridden by work rider Alana Pearson, she clocked 12 seconds over the final 200 metres and Alana said, "That was strong work. She relaxed nicely and she was very focussed on her own. She had a small blow but she’s improving." She continues to please us, and she is taking everything in her stride this preparation. She's coming along nicely in her fitness and condition and all being well, she should be ready to trial next month.

Maybach (More Than Ready/Purespeed) is working well and this morning he completed three quarter pace work over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Alana Pearson, he clocked 14.6 seconds over the final 200 metres and Alana said, "He continues to work really well and he’s full of enthusiasm, as ever. He’s still having a small blow but I’m happy with his progress." We are very pleased with this gelding and his work is always very eye-catching. We will now look to start increasing the tempo of his gallops.

Dazzling Damsel (Not A Single Doubt/Tingirana) is working well and this morning she completed three quarter pace work over 1000 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Vivid Art (Artie Schiller/Vivid). Ridden by work rider Saffie Osbourne, she clocked 14.7 seconds over the final 200 metres and Saffie said, "She gave me a great feel today. She has a lovely attitude and she really carried herself well through to the line." We couldn’t be more pleased with this filly and she’s doing everything with consummate ease like the professional that she is. We are doing plenty of swimming with her, so she’s shedding some excess condition and starting to tighten up nicely.
