Trackwork Wednesday 20th May 2020

Dresden Green (Snitzel/Asscher) is working well and this morning he completed three quarter pacework over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Kuzco Lad (Zoustar/Shamrock Slipper). Ridden by work rider Ranj Singh, he clocked 14.2 seconds over the final 200 metres and Ranj said, "That was excellent work and he feels well this preparation." He was vastly improved today working to the inside of his partner and it was great to see him put in such a lovely piece of work. His fitness is improving all the time and it won’t be long before he steps up to full pace work.

Pensera (Pierro/Streama) has settled back in well to her surroundings at Tulloch Lodge and she spent her first few days gently trotting and cantering on the track. This morning she completed three quarter pacework over 600 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemates Echo Blossom (Pierro/Role Model) and Echo Delight (Starspangledbanner/Gigas). Ridden by work rider Nitin Parmar, she clocked 13.8 seconds over the final 200 metres and Nitin said, "That was a nice piece of work and she has come back from her spell in good order." It's only the beginning stages of her preparation, but we are very happy with this filly. She's returned to us in great shape and she's gained some lovely condition during her extended spell. She's quite fragile, so we will bring her along very gently before gradually increasing the tempo of her gallops .

Fortune Seeker (Written Tycoon/No Looking Back) has been in training for two weeks and this morning she completed three quarter pacework over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemates Jacqui (So You Think/Onassis) and Devils Triangle (More Than Ready/Define). Ridden by work rider Raj Kumar, she clocked 13.9 seconds over the final 200 metres and Raj said, "She moves well and she’s improving with each gallop." We are very pleased with this filly and she’s doing everything that we are asking of her at this early stage of her preparation. We’ll continue to bring her along gently before gradually increasing the tempo of her gallops.
