Trackwork Tuesday 8th September 2020

Dawn Passage (Dawn Approach/Raja Lane) has been in training for six weeks and this morning he galloped solo over 1000 metres on the B grass. Ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller, he clocked 12.2 seconds over the final 200 metres and Nash said, "He was very good today. He settled nicely, travelled strongly for me and he worked to the line well." We are very pleased with his progress and he's handled this step up to full pace work nicely in his stride. His fitness will improve hand over fist now that he's doing fast work and we will keep bringing him along towards a trial.

Rock Amore (Fastnet Rock/Nicamorae) is working well and this morning he galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller, he clocked 12.4 seconds over the final 200 metres and Nash said, "That was lovely work and he hit the line strongly.” This gelding continues to please us between runs and he’s doing everything right. He’s on target for the BM72 Handicap over 1400 metres at Warwick Farm on 16th September and we think he will be very competitive.

Alumna (Shooting To Win/Mysterious Light) is working well and this morning she galloped over 1000 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Parochial (Pierro/Larrocha). Ridden by jockey Bobby El-Issa, she clocked 11.4 seconds over the final 200 metres and Bobby said, "She travelled enthusiastically for me and she stretched out well in the straight to hit the line nicely." We are very pleased with this mare and she's improved a lot off the back of her fantastic first up run. She's fitter and tighter in condition, and she's on target for the Fillies & Mares Maiden Handicap over 1400 metres at Newcastle on 18th September where we think she will go close to winning.
