Trackwork Tuesday 7th July 2020

Gundy Bridge (I Am Invincible/Bareena) has been in training for six weeks and this morning he galloped over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Vivenzo (Written Tycoon/Balmodena). Ridden by jockey Tim Clark, he clocked 12.1 seconds over the final 200 metres and Tim said, "I’m very pleased with him, and he’s a lovely colt. He feels a lot bigger and stronger than he did previously, and he’s doing everything right." This strapping colt continues to delight us, and he was very professional today. He’s on target to trial in 2 weeks’ time and we can't wait to see him back on the track.

Con Te Partiro (Scat Daddy/Temple Street) has been in training for four weeks and this morning she completed galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Ranj Singh, she clocked 12 seconds over the final 200 metres and Ranj said, "She was very well behaved today, and she relaxed nicely for me. She was focused throughout and she hit the line strongly." We couldn't be more pleased with our star mare and she's handled this step up to full pace work with ease. She had a good blow after, as you'd expect, and her fitness will come on in leaps and bounds now that she's up to full pace work.

Echo Gem (Squamosa/Porcellanus) is working well and this morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres on the steeple grass. Ridden by jockey Blake Spriggs, she clocked 11.7 seconds over the final 200 metres and Blake said, "She bowled along in a lovely rhythm and she strode out strongly to the line. She's in good order." We are very happy with our mare’s progress since last week's run. She's fitter and sharper with that experience under her belt and she's improving with every subsequent piece of work. We are targeting her at the Benchmark 70 Handicap over 1200 metres at Warwick Farm on 15th July and we expect her to be very competitive.
