Trackwork Tuesday 13th October 2020

Wolfe (Novellist/Peace Of World) has been training for three weeks and this morning he galloped solo over 1200 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Kacie Adams, he clocked 13.3 seconds over the final 200 metres and Kacie said, "He was very good today. He settled nicely, travelled strongly for me and he worked to the line well." We are very pleased with this gelding's progress and he's handled this step up to full pace work nicely in his stride. His fitness will improve hand over fist now that he's doing fast work and we'll keep tapping away at this as he gears up for a trial.

Rock Amore (Fastnet Rock/Nicamorae) is working well and this morning he galloped solo over 1200 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Tim Clark, he clocked 13 seconds over the final 200 metres and Tim said, "That was good work and he’s come through the run well.” We are very pleased with him and he was focused and professional as always today. He’s come out of his last week’s run in good order, and he remains on target for the Colts, Geldings & Entires Benchmark 72 Handicap over 1550 metres at Kensington on 21st October.

Hamilton Place (Frankel/Gwenella) is working well and this morning he galloped solo over 1200 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Swan Holzritter, he clocked 11.3 seconds over the final 200 metres and Swan said, "That was good work and he’s come through the run well.” He’s come out of last week’s run in good order and appears to have improved off the back of it. He is still on target for the Maiden Handicap over 1600 metres at Kembla on 24th October and we think he will improve with the benefit of race experience as well as stretching out over a longer trip.
