Trackwork Tuesday 11th August 2020

Riodini (Proisir/Giardini) is working well and this morning he galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Swan Holzritter, he clocked 12 seconds over the final 200 metres and Swan said, "He pleased me today. He bowled along enthusiastically, and he stretched out well to the line." We are very pleased with this lovely gelding and he's come out of last week's first trial in Australia in really good shape. He's certainly taken great benefit from the experience, and we will look to get him to a second trial next week, and he looks to have an exciting spring campaign ahead of him.

Escaped (Exceed And Excel/Se Sauver) is working well and this morning he galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by work rider Raj Kumar, he clocked 11.6 seconds over the final 200 metres and Raj said, "He pleased me today. He bowled along enthusiastically, and he stretched out well to the line." He is delighting us and he's come out of last week's run in wonderful shape. He appears to have taken further benefit from the experience, and he looks a picture. He remains on target for the Benchmark 72 Handicap over 1250 metres at Canterbury on 19th August and we imagine he will be hard to beat here.

Emerald Princess (Zoustar/Emerald Flight) is working well and this morning she galloped over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Nothinsweetaboutme (So You Think/Nothin’ Leica Cat). Ridden by apprentice Brandon Griffiths, she clocked 11.2 seconds over the final 200 metres and Brandon said, "That was lovely work. She was focused throughout, strong to the line and she is improving." We are delighted with this filly and she's come through last week's jumpout in great shape. She is still improving in her fitness and she is sharper with that experience under her belt, and we’ll continue to tap away at her fitness as she gears up for a trial in the coming weeks.
