Trackwork Thursday 4th June 2020

We had lots of lovely yearlings out on the track today and Wenet (American Pharoah/Whitula), Deep Field/Uptown Rock and Cable Bay/Very Choosy all worked very nicely alongside one another. These fillies are all on their second preparation, so they have been to Randwick once before and are familiar with their surroundings and routine. They're pleasing us no end and they all handled the step up to three quarter pace work nicely today. We can't wait to watch them progress and develop throughout the winter months.

Conversely,  Not A Single Doubt/Drinks All Round, Medaglia D’Oro/Swiss Rose and Not A Single Doubt/Fashion are all on their first preparation here. Nonetheless, they're taking it all in and they've impressed us with how mature and sensible they are. Not A Single Doubt/Drinks All Round is of course a full sister to our G1 Vinery Stud Stakes heroine Shout The Bar, and it's wonderful to have her in the stable. She possesses many of the same physical and mental attributes as her sister, and let's hope she can live up to her success on the course.
