Trackwork Friday 8th November 2019

It was a beautiful, sunny morning trackside at Randwick today and we had two very successful groups of horses jumping out.

The first group consisted of Ahso (Sebring/Quench The Thirst) (ridden by senior work rider Steve O'Halloran, black cap), Bolson (Spirit Of Boom/Pegasus Miss) (ridden by jockey Rachel King, purple cap) and Maranoa (Snitzel/Faint Perfume) (ridden by Quayde Krogh, red and white cap). As you can see, they all jumped out very alertly and looked very professional. They picked up speed to travel strongly going into the first turn and the experience will have brought them all along wonderfully.

The second group consisted of Marcassin (Spirit Of Boom/Deb’s Choice) (jockey Rachel King, purple cap), Equities (I Am Invincible/Rich Megadale) (jockey Quayde Krogh, red and white cap) and Medaglia D’Oro/Fireworks (senior work rider Steve O'Halloran, black cap).  Again, they were all very pleasing, in particular Marcassin who has only ever had one jumpout previously. Equities has raced twice and is a recent trial winner and Marcassin was on a par with him, which is exciting. We can't wait to watch their progress this preparation.
