Trackwork Friday 7th February 2020

Apicius (Redoute's Choice/Vanilla Princess) is working well and this morning she completed three quarter pace work over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Aqueous (Written Tycoon/Aqualuna). Ridden by jockey Rachel King, she clocked 14.1 seconds over the final 200 metres and Rachel said, "She gave me a lovely feel. She's very relaxed in her work and she seems happy to be back." We are very pleased with her and how she is going. It's only the early stages of her preparation, but she is doing everything we are asking of her and she seems to really enjoy being back out on the track. We will continue to bring her along slowly as we gradually increase the tempo of her gallops.

Rule The World (Hallowed Crown/Pay Off Now) is working well and this morning he completed three quarter pacework over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Star Of Success (Exceed And Excel/Altair's Glow). Ridden by work rider Vanessa Grant, he clocked 14.3 seconds over the final 200 metres and Vanessa said, "He is very happy to be back. He was enthusiastic at first but then he relaxed into it and worked nicely on the bridle to the line." It's lovely to have him back and he's returned to us in wonderful shape. We will continue to bring him along gently as we gradually increase the tempo of his gallops and we can't wait to see how he progresses in his preparation.

Exsupero (Exceed And Excel/Pure Energy) is working well and this morning he completed three quarter pace work over 1000 metres on the polytrack . Ridden by jockey Rachel King, he clocked 14.4 seconds over the final 200 metres and Rachel said, "He gave me a good feel today and he strode out nicely to the line." He is going well, and he is doing everything that we are asking of him without any problems. We will continue to bring him along gently as we gradually increase the tempo of his gallops.

Equities (I Am Invincible/Rich Megadale) participated in a grass jumpout over 800 metres at Flemington this morning. He broke well and settled in the lead from the outset. He travelled comfortably throughout and stretched out nicely when asked to extend from the final turn to the line, to come home a narrow winner. Jockey Brad Rawiller said, “I’m really happy with him. He started quickly and set a nice tempo. He travelled fluently and he felt really good underneath me. He got his head up a bit on the turn, but he responded well when I asked him to go and win his trial.” We are very pleased with your gelding and he showed a likeable attitude today to fight all the way to the line and keep his neck in front. We will now look over the program to find him some suitable upcoming opportunities and we look forward to seeing him back on the track.
