Trackwork Friday 29th May 2020

This Friday's jumpouts were particularly exciting as it was the first time we were able to put some yearlings through their paces in the barriers.

The first group consisted of 2 year olds Sebring/Golden Millennium, Balqees (Artie Schiller/Watchful) and Brass Knuckles (More Than Ready/Rare Fragrance). Brass Knuckles could be spotted from space with his pink headgear on, and they all performed very creditably. They are on target to trial in the coming weeks.

Jumpout two consisted of Shooting To Win/Femme Liberte, Marsannay (Snitzel/Bourgogne) and My Sister Carole (Lonhro/Sister Madly). Marsannay, unsurprisingly, put his prior race experience to good use but the two fillies also acquitted themselves with credit. This was the first jumpout of their current preparations and they will improve a lot with the experience under their belts.

Our final group consisted of yearlings Shalaa/Intiba and Exceed And Excel/Caraveli. These lovely fillies were both incredibly well behaved and they jumped out most pleasingly. It's no mean feat getting to a grass jumpout at this early stage and they're showing themselves to be very sensible and professional individuals. We can't wait to track their progress.
