Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing

Journey To The Magnolia Cup

Being a trainer, wife, mother, grandmother to five grandchildren and an ambassador for the Victorian Racing Club are some of the many hats Gai wears. Last week fellow VRC Ambassador, Georgia Connolly, spent a morning at track work with Gai and Adrian in preparation for her journey to contest the annual ladies-only charity race, the Magnolia Cup, at world famous British racecourse, Goodwood.

It was a great insight into our training operation for Georgia, who had the opportunity to ride a couple of our racehorses here at Randwick and get plenty of good advice from Gai as she embarks on her race riding experience.

Don’t miss this fantastic video put together by the VRC as the ambassadors unite to combine forces.
