Magic Millions Is Upon Us
Magic Millions is upon us again and is one of the most exciting times of the racing calendar. The yearlings on offer are the most precocious, produced by the best breeding farms in Australia and New Zealand and everyone is out to find their next champion.
This year Adrian Bott and I have an exceptionally smart two-year-old, Invincible Star (I Am Invincible/Romany Flyer) purchased from the draft of Yarraman Park Stud. She is already a Black Type winner, flying home to victory in the Group 3 Ottawa Stakes on Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington. This race is specifically for Magic Millions graduates with prizemoney of $2 million. Another dominant player this year is the dual Group 1 winner, Global Glamour who will contest the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas over 1400m, also with prizemoney of $2 million.
The Magic Millions week has everything to offer, fashion parades, morning teas, barrier draws on the beach with horses galloping on the golden sand and cocktail parties under the starry skies. Fun and festivities at every corner, you really can’t miss it.
Adrian and I depart today for the Coast so that we will be fully prepared to select our owners some more Pierro’s, Sebring’s and Vancouver’s (now standing at stud at Coolmore America).
Stay tuned and watch this space for my up and coming purchases. Gai Xx
