Rail Position: +3M ENTIRE CIRCUIT.

ARBEITSAM (Race 3, 1:10PM, 1800M, No.7, jockey Tommy Berry, 53kg)
Arbeitsam (Snitzel/Workhard) steps back up in trip to 1800m after his emphatic victory at this track two weeks ago. We have decided to go with this race, rather than run him over 1500m on the same card as this is an open handicap and as a result he has bottom weight. In addition, this is a smaller field which will hopefully mean there is less pressure on. The horse is in terrific form and we are very confident for another strong run. An excellent winning chance.

SIEGE OF QUEBEC (Race 6, 2.55PM, 1100M, No.4, jockey Tim Clark, 54.5kg)
Siege Of Quebec (Fastnet Rock/Rose Of Cimmaron) has been very impressive in both of his two starts to date and now takes a step up in grade to Listed class, which he duly warrants. He drops back in trip to the 1100 metres which we do not anticipate being a problem, he’s a hugely impressive colt who is versatile with plenty of speed to burn and has more than enough class to come out in front on Saturday. A strong winning chance.

DEE I CEE (Race 7, 3.35PM, 1400M, No.5, jockey Adam Hyeronimus, 56.5kg)
Dee I Cee (Istidaad/Smashed All Night) runs over 1400m, a trip short of his best, although he has won over it in the past. It’s his first up run this preparation and he has the blinkers on for the first time to help sharpen him up over the trip. He has been working very well of late and the weight relief he receives will be a help, he has a very strong each-way chance.

SLUMBER PARTY (Race 8, 4.15PM, 1400M, No.8, jockey Brenton Avdulla, 56.5kg)
Slumber Party (Snitzel/Hokuspokus) was nailed late last time out at Rosehill when she was second. She steps up to 1400m, the blinkers are off to allow her to settle in the run with the added distance and she has a great chance of returning to the winner’s enclosure. A strong winning chance.

Rail Position: +10M ENTIRE CIRCUIT.

SOCIAL ELEMENT (Race 1, 12.19PM, 1600M, No.4, jockey Paul King, 59kg)
Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) ran a brilliant race on debut to be second at Hawkesbury. He has come out of that race well, he’s been training nicely on the track and the added distance should certainly be in his favour. He has a great chance of continuing the fine stable form. A good winning chance.

DECROUX (Race 4, 2.04PM, 1200M, No.6, jockey Paul King, 55.5kg)
Decroux (Lope De Vega/Mimes) makes his debut over 6 furlongs. The imposing chestnut has been working well in his morning track work and we are very hopeful of a good run. He will certainly improve for the experience and for a step up in distance in time, nonetheless he’s ready to go and should run a great race. A good each-way chance.

WEDGIE (Race 8, 4.39PM, 1200M, No.10, jockey Paul King, 55.5kg)
Wedgie (Foxwedge/Undercover) also makes her debut over 6 furlongs in the fillies and mares maiden. She’s a lovely filly who has been showing plenty in her morning work. We are looking forward to getting her started, she too will benefit from the experience but we are confident she will run a great race, despite the wide barrier. She has a good each-way chance.

Out 6m Entire Circuit

MIREBEAU (Race 1, 11.55am, 1400m, No. 9, jockey Stephen Baster, 58.5kg).
Mirebeau (Al Maher/Misstari) has us scratching our heads. He works terrifically well on the track at home but in his jumpouts, he shows very little. The distance of the trials is far short of his best so the 1400 metres first up will be favourable and hopefully he can put his best foot forward as he resumes this campaign. Each way chance with improvement to come.

PINOT (Race 2, 12.30pm, 1300m, No. 13, jockey Stephen Baster, 56kg).
Pinot (Pierro/Dizelle) makes her debut on Sunday. She has always shown good ability on the track and being by the sire Pierro, she will really start to hit her straps now she's a three-year-old. She has been thriving in her work south of the border and the 1300 metres first up will certainly suit. Whatever she does on Sunday she will only improve on with added distance and fitness under her belt but we are expecting a big run. Solid each way chance.
