FRIDAY 7th JULY 2017

Flying Dee Jay (High Chaparral/DJ Lightning) galloped over 6 furlongs under her regular rider, apprentice Rachel King. Rachel reported, "The filly is in great form, she was my best this morning and hasn't taken a backwards step since her most recent run.”

Rachel was also on board Glam Rock (Cape Blanco/Glamorous Girl) who breezed over 3 furlongs. Finishing the last 200m in 11.2 seconds, Rachel added, “He’s in great nick and ran through the line really strongly.”

Also working over 6 furlongs was Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) under Steve O’Halloran. The horse picked up well finishing the last 200m in 11.4 seconds. Steve was equally impressed with the gallop saying, "That was great, he is the most improved horse I have ridden in a long time. I would say he was my best this morning.”

Angelo (More Than Ready/Wasimah) with Steve O’Halloran and Royal Advance (Commands/Royal Lineup) with senior work rider Ranjeet Singh in the saddle galloped over 5 furlongs. The pair showed good speed, with both riders very pleased upon pulling up. These two horses are coming up a treat and are nearing their debut trials.
